While touring, Cody Beebe, like many touring musicians, snaps images of life on the road--the curiosities he experiences, the places he sees.
The photos in this exhibition feature life between shows--hardships, old barns, remarkable views and lonely, abandoned rooms.
And those in the audience--music lovers--can find a romantic view of a musician's life. The listeners in the crowd might want a bird's-eye view of what it means to be free from the grips of a 9-to-5, the life of going from gig to gig, creating with close friends, making people happy with their music.
This exhibit gives the viewer a peak into Beebe's life and what he sees on the road with his band, The Crooks.
Additionally, this exhibition shows why the artist lives here, why the Yakima Valley is his home.
Choosing from more than 20,000 photos, Cody Beebe brings the story of a love affair, both with his home and the road.
