What your donation supports

Our members help the Seasons accomplish goals that benefit the community:

Bring exciting and excellent music events to audiences of all ages
Since October of 2005, The Seasons had been presenting weekly shows of artistically excellent music.  Though The Seasons begun as an organization focused on presenting jazz and classical music, we have branched out to offer a wide variety of local and touring music events. We put energy into listening to what our community wanted to see (and hear) from us, and we hope that we can count on your support.

Provide hands-on music education for audiences of all ages
Though our sponsorship of The Latin Music Celebration, we bring professional working musicians from across the country into schools in the Upper and Lower Valleys to work with over 12,000 students annually.  We also offer a once in a lifetime chance for budding conductors and composers from across the nation to work with high level professionals and gain experience creating new music to be played by a professional orchestra.  With help from community members, we hope to be able to expand these offerings in 2013.

Be home to a variety of community and cultural activities
The Seasons is committed to enhancing Yakima’s cultural life by providing a home to a variety of cultural events throughout the year.  Our venue hosted such events as Judy Collins, The Allied Arts Latino Film Series, Carmens Backstage at The Seasons, A weekly Salsa Night, Guest Speaker Lilly Yeh, and Twist and Shout, The Definitely Beatles Experience.  Here at The Seasons we believe that providing a safe, all ages, community minded venue for music and arts of all types creates a vibrant and healthy Yakima!
