Nearly twelve years ago, the Strosahl Family launched the Seasons to provide access to
music for Yakima Valley residents. We ask that you keep that vision alive with your year end investment in the Seasons. Last year, your remarkably generous response to our end-of-year appeal provided essential funds to accomplish our mission of presenting musical performances, supporting music education and offering cultural events that reflect the diversity of the Yakima Valley.
Your support brings great music to all of us. A board member of The Seasons shared the
impact you’ve had on his family’s life.
“My connection to The Seasons began several years ago. I have an older brother
who has suffered with severe bi-polar symptoms all his life. He spent much of his life
as a struggling street musician, made it to New York where he managed to meet John Hammond (blues musician and civil rights activist), but eventually ended up homeless and later, institutionalized in California. I helped him move to an assisted living facility here in Yakima in 2009. Since then, I have tried to get him out to local musical performances as often as I can so that at least he can still have some of that joy in his life.”
We invite you to invest in The Seasons Performance Hall. Your gift to The Seasons will
assist us in continuing the great work we’ve undertaken this past year and help insure that you and those you love have access to great music right here in Yakima!
P.S. Your investment in the Seasons helps keep the lights and heat on, and makes it possible for us to welcome you to some of the best musical performances in the Northwest. Your generosity makes the difference. Thank you!
