Confused?? Three Simple Steps to a Seasons Live-stream Event

Are You Confused???We get the feeling that many of you might be intimidated by what a livestream really is, and how your link-up and participate — especially you lovers of classical and jazz music. We've received several calls. So here are three simple to get you through the process even if you have only rudimentary knowledge of computers...

  1. Click THIS LINK. (It will take you to The Seasons web page describing the SEMPRE Beethoven concert.)
  2. Scroll down the web page til you see a big blue button: "GET YOUR UNIQUE LIVESTREAM CODE HERE"... Click the button. (If you computer gives you a message or you can't get the page to show up, you probably need to alter your security settings for your web-browsing, so go directly to the Passage Ticketing site:
  3. If this is your first time on our new ticket site, you will need to create an account. This will include your name and email and a password. Fill this out before purchasing tickets.
  4. Your ticket options and registration window pop-up on the page. Click the orange button that says "REGISTER NOW" This is a test. You don't have to pay a thing: just click the darn button. If you are familiar with online commerce, it's pretty intuitive from here. Once you're done making your selections, an email is sent to you with a link to your online access..

So we recognize you might still be hesitant, especially if you have never done this before. So here's a bit more detail...

  1. While still on the registration page, use the button on the right to select the number of tickets. (Hint: just ask for 1 ticket for now (only one per TV or computer monitor is necessary to receive the broadcast))
  2. Click on "ADD To CART" and then click CHECKOUT. Your choice will appear in your online cart. If it's your first time, it will ask for your name, email, and a password. Make it an easy one like, say, the name of the concert
  3. If you added a Donation Ticket, fill out credit card info, and click Purchase.
  4. Click the orange button that says "VIRTUAL ACCESS" to see the viewing window as it will be at the performance with a time the performance will start. If you go here, notice the comment window and the "Donate to [Band Name]" Button. Those are a cool way to interact with the performance itself and help our artists get the pay they deserve.
  5. You will have received in your email a notice from Passage with a link to your ticket and, even more direct, a link that opens the Performance Window.
  6. Another couple similar reminder emails will be sent to you reminding you of the upcoming performance a few hours before it starts.
  7. Click on the link in the e-mail to join the livestream any time after 5:45 PM Sunday Night. If you're viewing with more than yourself, find your largest monitor. (or use your computer's app to airplay your computer monitor screen to your TV on your FIRE or APPLE TV).
  8. Cool Tip: If you don't have time to watch live, your ticket link will take you to a re-stream of the entire concert. Be quick however, that link disappears 48 hours after the concert.

What's a Live-stream??? it's a broadcast of video shot live very much like a television broadcast. Instead of a wireless broadcast signal however, the video is carried on the internet and is received on your computer's monitor, your iPad or Phone. These devices can often be linked up with today's televisions, check with your knowledgeable tech friends if you need help.
